Chapter-7

The years had done nothing to dim the fire. If anything, time had sharpened it, honed Jungkook's obsession into something that lived in his bones, in his blood, in every breath he took.

He was thirty-six now, still at the peak of his fame though he picked his projects more carefully, still the most photographed man in Seoul but with eyes only for one.

She was forty-one, her hair threaded with silver that she no longer tried to hide, her body softer, rounder, marked by time and motherhood and his endless hunger. And he worshipped her—every inch, every change, every new line on her face that told the story of their life together.

The twins were six now—Soo-min with her mother's wide eyes and quick laugh, Joon with his father's intensity and musical talent. They were in first grade, full of stories about friends and teachers and the endless dramas of the playground, and they had given their parents something precious:

hours alone in an empty house while they learned multiplication tables and practiced handwriting.

But Jungkook's jealousy had not aged. It had not matured into trust, had not softened with the years. It remained a live wire, sparking whenever another man came too close, whenever a stranger's eyes lingered too long on the curve of her waist or the richness of her skin.

Today it had been the barista at the café near the twins' school—a young man, perhaps twenty-five, who had smiled too warmly when he handed her coffee, whose fingers had brushed hers deliberately, who had asked if she was new to the neighborhood and if she might need someone to show her around.

She'd declined politely, used to this by now, her wedding ring catching the light as she tucked her hair behind her ear. But Jungkook had seen.

Jungkook, who had been waiting in the car because she'd insisted she could walk ten feet to get coffee alone, had watched through the glass, his hands tightening on the steering wheel until his knuckles turned white.

He hadn't spoken on the drive home. Hadn't spoken as they entered the mansion, as the door clicked shut behind them, as the silence of the empty house settled around them like a cloak.

"Jungkook," she said softly, setting her coffee on the entry table, turning to face him. "It was nothing. He was being friendly. I told him I was married."

"He wanted you," Jungkook said, his voice dangerously soft. "I saw it. The way he looked at you. Like you were something he could take."

"He couldn't—"

"But he wanted to." Jungkook advanced on her, his movements deliberate, his eyes darkening with that familiar predatory intensity that still made her heart stutter after all these years.

"They all want to. Every man who sees you. Every man who imagines what it would be like to touch this skin." His hand found her waist, his fingers spanning the softness there, gripping with possessive pressure.

"To taste these lips." His other hand cupped her jaw, his thumb tracing her lower lip. "To be inside you."

"Jungkook—"

"Mine," he growled, the word vibrating through his chest, through hers where he pressed against her. "Still mine. Always mine. Say it."

"Yours," she whispered, her hands finding his chest, feeling the thunder of his heart beneath her palms. "Only ever yours, Jungkook. You know that."

"Not enough," he murmured, but there was less anger now, more need. "Never enough. I need to feel it. Need to feel you."

He lifted her then, as he had a thousand times before, his strength undiminished by the years, and carried her up the stairs to their bedroom—the same room where he'd claimed her that first night, where he'd fucked her through her pregnancies, where they'd made love through grief and joy and the ordinary days that made up a life.

He laid her on the bed with a tenderness that contradicted the wildness in his eyes, his hands gentle as he undressed her, revealing her body to his gaze. He paused, as he always did, to simply look at her—the stretch marks that silvered her belly, the softness of her thighs, the heaviness of her breasts that had fed his children and still responded to his touch.

"Beautiful," he breathed, the word carrying the weight of a decade of devotion. "More beautiful every year. Every day."

He undressed slowly, letting her watch him, letting her see the way his body had matured—leaner now, harder, the tattoos he'd added over the years marking his skin with art that told their story.

His cock sprang free, already hard, already aching for her, and her mouth watered with the familiarity of desire, the comfort of knowing him so completely.

He climbed over her, his body covering hers, his skin warm against her skin, and entered her in one smooth, unhurried thrust. They both groaned at the connection—the perfect fit of him inside her, the wet heat that welcomed him home, the rightness of it after all this time.

"Look at me," he commanded softly, his hips beginning to move in deep, rolling strokes that hit every sensitive place inside her. "Eyes on me, love. Only me."

She obeyed, her hands finding his hair, her legs wrapping around his waist to pull him deeper. He moved with the rhythm of a man who knew her body better than his own—knew exactly how to angle his hips to make her gasp, exactly when to slow down to draw out the pleasure, exactly how to make her feel cherished even as he claimed her.

"I love you," he whispered against her mouth, his thrusts gaining speed, his control beginning to fray at the edges. "Love you so much it hurts. Love you so much I can't breathe when I think about losing you. Love you so much I'll never stop needing this. Needing you."

"I know," she gasped, her nails digging into his back, her body arching to meet him. "I know, Jungkook. I feel it too. Every day. Every year. Love you. Love you. Love you—"

He captured her cry with his mouth as she came, her body clamping down on him in rhythmic pulses that pulled his own release from him. He spilled inside her with a groan that sounded like prayer, like surrender, like the devotion of a man who had spent a decade worshipping at her altar and intended to spend eternity doing the same.

He stayed there, buried deep, his weight pressing her into the mattress in the way she loved, his face buried in her neck as they caught their breath. After a moment, he shifted, rolling to his side and pulling her with him, keeping them connected, his leg thrown over hers to keep her close.

"Still jealous," he murmured, his hand tracing lazy patterns on her hip. "Still crazy. Still obsessed.”

"Good," she whispered, her fingers playing with his hair. "I like you crazy. I like being the only one who can calm you. The only one you want."

"Only one," he promised, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Forever. Until we're old and grey and the twins have babies of their own. I'll still want you. Still need you. Still rail you lovingly in our empty nest while they visit on Sundays."

She laughed, the sound warm and content, her body sore and satisfied and his. "Promise?"

"Promise," he vowed, his hand finding hers, their wedding bands clicking together. "Now sleep. We have to pick up the twins in two hours. And tonight, after they're in bed, I'm going to remind you again. And again. Until you forget that barista's face entirely."

"Already forgotten," she assured him, her eyes closing, her head on his chest.

"Good," he whispered, holding her close, his obsession a warm blanket around them both. "Sleep, my love. I've got you. I'll always have you."

And she did, safe in his arms, in his obsession, in the love that had only grown stronger with every passing year.
